Toronto dog walking -- Annex, Dovercourt, Dufferin Grove
Hi, I’m Brenda, proud owner of Furry Godmother, a Toronto dog walking and pet sitting service. I used to work as a public relations manager for a California winery. It was exciting work and I got to do a lot of travelling, not to mention drink expensive wines and eat great food prepared by some of the best internationally known chefs. All on the company dime! Some people would say, and believe me they did, that I would be a fool to give it all up but making the transformation from PR to professional dog walker was a natural career change.
You’re probably wondering who that gorgeous gal is in the photo. That’s Loula, my Blue Heeler mix. She is one of the many street dogs rescued by KAZ Shelter in Greece. Loula spent the first year of her life as a stray and had never experienced life as a family pet prior to us adopting her. Acclimatizing Loo came with a lot of research and many challenges--and all of them worth it. I credit her for teaching me patience, the nuances of dog behaviour, and for ultimately making me not only a better dog walker but a better person.
